Book a working session
One focused day on one of your real workflows. Leave with a working prototype and a decision, not a deck. Credited in full against your engagement.
We look at how your work runs, pick one real workflow with you and build a working version of it. Leave with a decision, not a deck.
The session has its own fee, agreed with you before you book. It's credited in full against your engagement if you go ahead.
What you walk away with
- A working prototype on one of your real workflows.
- The workflow, mapped: how it runs today, and where people and agents fit.
- Where you are on the path: AI-absent, AI-enabled or AI-native, and your first steps from there.
- A build, buy or partner call for each part of that workflow.
- Who is accountable for each decision that matters, including what agents may approve.
- Our advice on where to go next.
One focused day
The session takes one day, or the same eight working hours spread out if that suits your team.
Who should be in the room
- Whoever issued the AI directive: the CEO, a board member, or you, the founder. We spend the first hours with them. [PROVISIONAL: founders confirm, #3]
- Whoever owns making it real: often the COO, head of operations, CTO or CIO.
- The experts who do the work today, whose knowledge the workflow depends on.
At a small company, that can be one person. The session is the same shape for a solo founder as for a large team: we pick one workflow of yours, for example inbound lead to booked meeting, and you leave with a working prototype and a map of what to automate next. It takes one day, the same as for a larger team. Prices are set in the working session.
Booking for a portfolio or a program?
Choose that on the form and tell us a little about it. We'll show you what a session looks like for one of your companies. Each company then books its own working session, and we agree any program or portfolio terms with you directly.
What it costs
There are two separate prices here, and they're settled at different times.
- The session fee covers the working session. We agree it with you, along with the terms, before anything is booked. Prices for the engagement are set in the working session.
- The engagement is the work after the session, if you go ahead. We scope and price it with you during the session, once we've seen the workflow. The session fee is credited in full against it.
Before you book
What does it cost?
Talk to us. We scope the work with you during the working session, which is credited in full against your engagement. Prices are set in the working session.
What if we don't go ahead after the session?
You keep the working prototype and our advice on where to go next, and you owe nothing more. The session fee covers the session itself.
Is our data safe?
Your data stays in the systems you already use. We work inside them, with only the access you give us, under NDA. We design each engagement around your compliance requirements.
Who you'll work with
You'll work with Tim Varner, Jake Krogman and our forward-deployed team. Station, the system we'd configure for you, runs Splice every day. See our work
What happens next
- We reply. We usually respond within 24 hours.
- Details agreed. The session fee and terms, the date, who should be in the room, and an NDA. Nothing else is needed before the day: we pick the workflow together during the session.
- We hold the session. A day on one of your workflows.
- You decide. You leave with a prototype, our advice and a scoped next step, and you choose whether to go ahead.
Credited in full against your engagement.
